The North Bay Employment Connection is delighted to announce the launch of a
totally redesigned website for partners, staff and the general public in the four
North Bay counties of Napa, Solano, Sonoma and Marin. This site will provide
users with a comprehensive overview of the workforce development related products
and services of NBEC including downloadable publications, on-going project information,
grants writing activities and more...
Visitors to the site will also find the aesthetic to be inviting and sophisticated.
Special features include a login for partners and staff of the collaboration,
a robust search engine, and frequently asked questions for every key area of the
site. The web developers at Net-Flow Internet Solutions, a Napa-based company
responsible for the redesign, worked closely with NBEC to enhance the site's usability
and navigation.
Echoing the sentiments of all parties involved in the site’s construction, Bruce
Wilson, NBEC Project Manager commented, “We find the new website design to be a
flattering reflection of the North Bay Employment Connection vision. The site
is an excellent tool to share information with partners of the collaborative as
well as to other stakeholders including employers and jobseekers.”
Conceived in the fall 1998 by the Private Industry Council (PIC) Directors in
Napa, Solano, Sonoma and Marin, the North Bay Employment Connection manages mutually
beneficial workforce development projects on behalf of the Workforce Investment
Boards (previously the PIC's). In total, the collaborative has attracted and
managed nearly $15 million dollars to the region in just under five years. Please
navigate through our website to find out more about current projects and current
grant proposals. |
